How to add a Contributor to your Squarespace Website

If you already have a Squarespace website and you’re looking for design help, you may be wondering how the heck your designer will be able to gain access to your site.

Squarespace makes this super easy to do in the back end of your website, I’ll show you how below:

👉🏼*Note- If you don’t have a Squarespace website, and I’m your chosen designer- don’t worry about any of this- I’ll design your site and transfer it to you before your launch.

Adding a contributor to the back end of your Squarespace website

First, you’ll need to log into your Squarespace account. Once you’re logged in, Find the website that you’d like to add a contributor to and click the 3 dots on the right hand side.

Then click > Permissions. There you will be able to click “invite a contributor”

You will then be asked to invite your designer to your website. Add your designers info and email. You’ll have the ability to customize the permissions you allow your contributor.

For ease of use, I suggest making sure your designer has full and complete access so that the front and back end can be set up appropriately, you’ll have the ability to edit, change or remove permissions at any time.

That’s it. You’ve successfully added a contributor to your website!
